RV-6 Jim and Dave Mead jim_mead@bc.sympatico.ca Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada 100% Lycoming IO-320 CF-CRV We built this airplane in two cities 500 miles apart. Brother Dave, who lives in Edmonton Alberta, built the fuselage and very complete panel. I live in Kamloops and built the tail and wings here. The engine is a fuel injected I O 320 from Progressive Air here in Kamloops. When all the sub-assemblies were completed, we brought the fuselage out here and painted and assembled it. From start to finish took 25 months. Since completion we have 260 hrs logged. Now,instead of a 9 hour drive, it's a 2 hour flight. From day one, it's been a joy to fly.For a cross country airplane, this is as good as it gets. For a picture, see Van's aircraft website, special section, RV of the week #37. |
