Nothing by Chance : A Gypsy Pilot's Adventures in Modern America
ISBN 0-025-04690-X (Original Out-Of-Print Edition)

In this book Bach tells the story of how he and two friends set out to spend a summer living in a simpler time. With their two aircraft and a parachute they lived the life of the barnstormers of the 1920's. By selling rides in small towns they pay for their food and fuel, sleeping under the wings of their aircraft. And in the process learn a little about their friendship, fate, and what makes us human. While this book is not exactly a sequel, it has it's own style and meaning, if you've enjoyed Biplane you must read this book.
Who hasn't looked back at an event in their past and thought, "If not for this tiny little decision, made almost without thought, my whole life would be different now." Our lives are event-threads, each one dependant on the others to form the tapestry that is our lives. Remove one and it completely changes.
One February I went into Woody's Newsstand & Tobacconist's to find something interesting to read. It was a spur of the moment decision to go in and look for a book. As I passed the magazine racks I naturally looked for the aviation mags, and I spotted a Kitplanes magazine. Up to this point I had never heard of homebuilt aircraft. And that chance occurance has shaped everything in my life since.
